Head to Logroño, the capital of La Rioja, and you will be spoilt for choice of tasty pintxo and tapas bars. We’ve made things a little easier for your next visit by picking out our favourites so you can take an unforgettable and stress free tapas tour around the small but charming city.

Stop 1: Pata Negra Restaurant
First we head to the hustle and bustle of Laurel Street, also known as “The Path of Elephants”, it’s the place to be to embrace Spanish tradition. Pata Negra has a mouth-watering variety of pintxos. You can’t go wrong with a “La Bocatilla” a small sandwich of ham and melted tetilla cheese – this simple delight pairs brilliantly with Beronia Crianza Rioja.

Stop 2: Páganos Bar
The next hotspot is the Páganos bar –we recommend the delicious artisan meats and tortilla with a glass of Tempranillo Elaboración Especial. This 100% Tempranillo wine from our Coleccion range is packed with fresh red fruit, the ideal match for Spanish cuisine.

Stop 3: Blanco y Negro
The night is still young and it’s time to pay our amigos at Blanco y Negro a visit. This restaurant has over 100 years of history, and guarantees an authentic tapas experience. Their line-up of specialties include classic anchovy and green pepper pintxos and tempting bruschetta topped with melted goats cheese and jamón. To drink, we’re ordering Beronia Rioja Reserva – a treat of red and black fruits with the perfect balance of vanilla and spice.

Stop 4: Las Cubanas
To round the evening off, we’re heading to San Agustín street to Las Cubanas restaurant. Their specialty of succulent suckling pig is heaven for meat lovers. This dish needs to be enjoyed with an impressive wine, try with our unique and complex 100% Mazuelo Rioja Reserva.
